When your business provides financial support for WOSU programs, you’ll receive on-air underwriting credits for a fraction of the cost of commercial advertising. Credits such as these allow your company to communicate your corporate message in an extremely cost-effective way to highly targeted NPR and PBS audiences.

A 15-second on-air underwriting credit can be used to:

*Describe your business/organization;
*Identify your company products/services;
*Express your corporate mission/philosophy;
*Enhance your employee pride; and
*Create awareness of your company’s support of public broadcasting’s commitment to education and public service.

*A 15-second underwriting message may include:

* An Objective Description of Products/Services;
* Bona Fide Corporate Slogan;
* Position Statement;
* Business Location(s);
* Length of Time in Business;
* Vendor or Trade Names;
* Telephone Number; and
* Web Site Address.

Position your business as a community leader, build top-of-mind awareness, connect your business with cause-related marketing initiatives in our communities, and identify or heighten awareness of your organization’s message.

As a public broadcasting station, WOSU Public Media must comply with certain standards set forth by the FCC, the Federal Communications Commission. Any of our Development Officers will assist you in creating the underwriting message that fits your marketing objectives, while adhering to the FCC guidelines.

A WOSU development officer can assist you in creating an underwriting message that maximizes your on-air exposure. WOSU can offer your business a variety of underwriting packages. Set up an appointment today to review your marketing plan and the benefits of underwriting on WOSU Public Media.
