Battelle Gives $1.6 Million to WOSU for Digital Media Center at COSI “WOSU@ COSI is a nationally unique media center because it integrates the power of public media into the experience of a major science education museum. By its very nature, it will promote life-long learning and creative thinking, and Battelle is proud to support such a meaningful endeavor.” –Carl Kohrt, Battelle President and CEO
How does your support of WOSU impact children’s education? Our Ready To Learn program annually serves more than 8,800 children throughout 11 Ohio counties. Over 100 Ready To Learn workshops are held throughout the year for more than 1,500 parents, childcare providers and other early childhood professionals. “I look around my day care and I see things I have learned from WOSU…I see the children I care for using those skills and passing them on to their parents and to other children.” – WOSU Viewer and Home Care Provider
Murrills Gift to Impact Children’s Future Though Outreach and Education “We firmly believe that children’s experiences early in life greatly influence their ability to be successful academically and socially.
